When will I find out my room allocation?
We release room allocations approximately 1 week prior to your arrival.
Can I make special requests?
Yes, you can. Please ensure all requests are submitted on your application form to allow us timeto manage any specific requirements, you can also send these by email to the Accommodation Services Team (accommodationnottingham@upp-ltd.com). We cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet all requests and will contact you to discuss further if it has not been possible.
Do you have single sex accommodation?
Most of our flats are mixed sex, however if you require single sex accommodation, wewill meet this request (subject to availability)
Do you allocate based on course / personality?
No, our allocations are made at random. We believe this enables you to meet lots ofdifferent people which enhances your student journey.
Do you mix Undergraduate / Postgraduate students?
No, we have flats specifically for Undergraduates and Postgraduate students.
Do you mix 1st years and returners?
For our Undergraduate (44 Week Licence) rooms we have dedicated 1st year andreturner flats/buildings. Our Postgraduate (51 Week Licence) rooms are mixed.
When do I get my returner discount?
Your returner discount will be applied to your NottinghamHub account following theend of the registration period (this is usually in November after your Septemberarrival). You can therefore reduce your 1st rent instalment by the confirmed discountamount when paying on the NottinghamHub. Please view our Returner Terms andConditions for more information.
When can I apply?
Returner applications are open in November/December ahead of each academic year.Look out for communications from us at this time with information on how to book.
How do I apply?
All returner applications can be made via the Broadgate Park portal.
How long does it take for the application process?
The application process can take around 1-2 weeks. Once you have been verified wewill issue you with your room offer. If you have not passed the verification process,your application will be rejected, and we will be in touch with you to advise how youshould proceed with your booking.

It goes hand in hand with the Home at Halls app, which can be downloaded from your phone’s app store and accessed using the details you use on the Broadgate Park portal.
The app is a simple tool which can be used to log any maintenance issues you have, sign up to any events happening around site and give us vital feedback.
