What is a returning student?
A returning student is a student who has completed at least 1 year of study at theUniversity of Nottingham. Please note you do not need to have been a previous residentat Broadgate Park to be a returning student.
I can’t see my rent invoices on my NottinghamHub portal, what shall I do?
Your rent invoices will appear on your NottinghamHub portal in early September. If youcannot see your rent invoices at this time please follow the user guides on the web pagehere.
What should I do if I do not receive my student loan in time for my rent and deposit payment?

I am reliant upon my UK student loan to make my 1st rent payment – what should Ido?
When receiving your room offer you should select the ‘reliant on student finance’payment option. You will be required to pay a minimum of £250 deposit and a £250rent payment prior to your arrival. If you have any issues with your student financepayments please email sas@nottingham.ac.uk to discuss.
How do I pay?
Payments for your deposit and rent payments should be made direct to the Universityof Nottingham; Paying your accommodation fees – The University of Nottingham.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
All students need to pay a £250 damage deposit, this will be held on your account and refunded at the end of your licence. This is due around the beginning of the September that you are joining us.

Can I make special requests?
Yes, you can. Please ensure all requests are submitted on your application form to allow us timeto manage any specific requirements. We will endeavour to meet all special requests howeverwe are unable to guarantee that is possible. We will be in contact if we are not able to manageyour specific request to discuss all options. Do you have single sex accommodation?
Most of our flats are mixed sex, however if you require single sex accommodation, we will meetthis request (subject to availability)
Do you allocate based on course / personality?
No, our allocations are made at random. We believe this enables you to meet lots of differentpeople which enhances your student journey.
The Home at Halls blog is part of our Home at Halls content, designed to make sure you get the most out of living across our Broadgate Park residences.
It goes hand in hand with the Home at Halls app, which can be downloaded from your phone’s app store and accessed using the details you use on the Broadgate Park portal.
The app is a simple tool which can be used to log any maintenance issues you have, sign up to any events happening around site and give us vital feedback.
