I am no longer attending the University, can I cancel?
If you have withdrawn from your course at the University of Nottingham please contact theAccommodation Services Team for more information accommodationnottingham@upp-ltd.com.
I have a conditional offer, can I apply?
Yes, you can apply with a conditional offer and if you do not achieve the entry requirements foryour course, we will cancel the offer for you. The University will notify us of your offer statusfollowing results day, so you do not have to.
Can I make special requests?
Yes, you can. Please ensure all requests are submitted on your application form to allow us timeto manage any specific requirements. We will endeavour to meet all special requests howeverwe are unable to guarantee that is possible. We will be in contact if we are not able to manageyour specific request to discuss all options. Do you have single sex accommodation?
Most of our flats are mixed sex, however if you require single sex accommodation, wewill meet this request (subject to availability)
Do you allocate based on course / personality?
No, our allocations are made at random. We believe this enables you to meet lots ofdifferent people which enhances your student journey.
Do you mix Undergraduate / Postgraduate students?
No, we have blocks specifically for Undergraduates and Postgraduate students.
Do you mix 1st years and returners?
For our Undergraduate (44 Week Licence) rooms we have dedicated 1st year andreturner flats/buildings. Our Postgraduate (51 Week Licence) rooms are mixed.
Are the licence dates fixed?
We have a fixed term licence of 44 weeks for Undergraduate students and 51 weeks forPostgraduate students
Do I need to pay a deposit?
All students need to pay a £250 damage deposit, this will be held on your account and refundedat the end of your licence.
I need a specific room due to my medical need
