How do I pay my deposit?
Deposits may be made by telephoning Broadgate Park on +44 (0)115 951 8670. Please note a deposit is required for us to process your application.
How do I apply for a car parking permit?
We have a limited number of car parking spaces and these are allocated on a priority basis based upon individual circumstances. If you wish to apply for a parking permit you should download the form from the Documents section of this website and return it to us with the required supporting documentation. We will process these forms on the date specified on the form and notify you of the result of your application at that time (An annual charge is applicable).
How do I pay the accommodation fees?
The fees are to be paid in three termly instalments. If you require a different payment arrangement please contact the main office and ask to speak to the Finance Team.
How soon will I find out if I have been allocated a room?
You will be contacted within 2 weeks following receipt of your application via email informing you whether your application has been successful.
When do I get my deposit back?
Your deposit will be refunded to you four weeks following the termination of your contract. A room check will be carried out to establish if any deductions need to be made.
May I specify preferences to my allocation?
You can specify preferences in the box marked ‘Special Requirements’. We will endeavour to cater for your preferences wherever possible but be aware that we cannot guarantee this.
May I make a group booking?
We welcome group bookings at Broadgate Park, we advise applicants to write the names of other students in the Special Requirements area of the application form. We advise group bookings to apply together.
Do I need a Television License?
You will need to purchase a Television License if you bring a television set. Please note you will also require a TV licence if you use the IPTV service on your computer.
What is the cancellation policy?
If after submitting the application form you decide not to proceed, an administrative fee of £50 will be deducted from your deposit. The balance of £200 will be returned to you within 28 days of UPP receiving your written withdrawal. Once you have signed the License Agreement then the cancellation policy is operational as detailed in the Terms and Conditions, please read these carefully when you receive the paper work documentation.
How much is the on site laundry?
Presently the laundrette costs £2.00 for a wash and £1.00 for a tumble dry.
May I visit Broadgate Park before I arrive?
You may certainly visit Broadgate Park. Please note that due to rooms being presently occupied we will be unable to show you your allocated room. However, we will endeavour to show you around the Park and view show flats that may be available at the time.
Does the contract include vacation periods?
You do not have to move out during your contracted period. You may remain on site at Christmas and Easter.
May I move in early?
You may request to move in early, however a decision will have to be made on each individual case as to whether or not this is possible.
Who do I contact if I have not received my offer?

Are the flats cleaned regularly?
Cleaning staff will clean communal areas once a week this includes stairwells, corridors, kitchens and bathrooms. Please note that bedrooms, en suites and studios will not be cleaned as they are not communal spaces. We will provide a communal vacuum cleaner for your use.
Arrival information
Prior to arrival
·If you are going to arrive later than the start date of your contract, please email Broadgatepark@upp-ltd.com to ensure we have this recorded.
·Ensure your Offer Letter documents are completed and returned to confirm your booking along with your deposit of £250.00.
· Your rent can be paid on or prior to your arrival, pre- payment will save you time when checking in. If you need any advice with regards to paying your rent please call 0115 951 8670 or email Broadgatepark@upp-ltd.com or view ‘online payment page’.
Upon Arrival
·You are welcome to check in from 8am on the start date of your contract, we will then be open 24hrs a day to check you in.
·If you would like to arrive earlier to your accommodation please email Broadgatepark@upp-ltd.com to see if this is possible, we will endeavour to assist subject to availability.
·We are usually busier on the check in weekend between 1pm – 3pm, where possible please avoid this time to reduce delay/queues when checking in.
· Please ensure you have a copy of your offer letter and any receipts for payment with you.
Where to go
· If arriving by car, please make your way to NG7 2GY, which is a long stay car park at the West Entrance of University Park. (If vehicle access is required direct to Broadgate Park due to mobility issues, please approach the gate on Turnpike Lane directly).
·If you are staying at either Albion House (NG9 2PA) or Cloister House (NG7 2PG) and you have paid in advance for your rent, please make your way directly to the postcodes listed for your accommodation, if not please visit us at the Broadgate Park site, using the long stay car park.
· Please ensure you have your documents listed above with you when you leave the vehicle as you will need them to check in.
·Signage will then guide you to the check in area on the main site of Broadgate Park.
·You will be issued with a drop off permit to access Broadgate Park when you collect your keys. This will be for a limited time, and we would ask that you move your vehicle back to the long stay car park once unloaded to assist with the volume of traffic over the weekend.
Things to bring with you
·You will need to bring your own bed linen, as we will only provide a mattress protector. Bedding packs are available to purchase at the weekend from the main reception at a cost of £25.00 for a Single size. These contain a duvet, pillow, duvet cover, pillow case, fitted sheet, hand towel and bath towel. Double size bedding packs cost £35.00 with all of the above with two pillows and two pillow cases.
·You will also need to bring cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. We do have the town of Beeston with major high street stores just 5 minutes down the road if you wish to purchase them when you arrive.
·We do not provide coat hangers so please make sure you bring your own to your accommodation.
·If you will be accessing a student loan during your time at University, please bring your student loan document which has the bar code on as you will need to take it to registration to activate your loan.
Things not to miss
·During the main Intake weekend you should try to attend the welcome talk, timings will be advertised around site. This will introduce you to Broadgate Park and also some of the team who will take care of you during your stay.
·You will also find it useful to visit the ‘Courtyard’ area on site where you can receive information on events taking place at the start of term. Endsleigh Insurance will be on site for you to ensure that your policy covers all the items you have with you. Student Network Services, the local police and fire service will also be on site to offer advice and other essential information.
Other Information
·During the intake weekend, a shuttle bus will be available to take students to Cloister House and Albion House between 9am – 5.30pm.
